Solaray Evening Primrose Oil is squeezed from the seed by a process known as cold pressing. No solvents have been used. The GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) in the Evening Primrose Oil, which converts to prostaglandin (hormone-like substances), is suggested for lowering cholesterol levels, relieving PMS- irritability, headaches, breast tenderness, and bloating as well as being helpful in the treatment of eczema, rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis.
