It is suitable for human consumption, and is used as a nutritional supplement. It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, especially alpha-linolenic acid, also known as flax seed oil, Solgar's oil is uniquely cold pressed from organically grown flaxseed, by the exclusive Omegaflo process which protects the product from both light and air. It is a slow-drying liquid with good preservative properties and water resistance. it is also used in soaps, inks, and in the production of linoleum! Each softgel supplies 1250 mg of fresh, cold pressed (flaxseed) oil, a source of linoleic acid, an omega-3 polyunsaturate; and linoleic acid, an essential omega-6 polyunsaturate.
It is a yellowish drying oil derived from the dried ripe seeds of the flax plant. Linseed is uniquely cold pressed from organically grown flaxseed, by the exclusive Omegaflo process which protects the product from both light and air. The result is the most natural, purest source of cold pressed flaxseed oil available.
Each softgel supplies 1250mg of fresh, linoleic acid, cold pressed (flaxseed) oil, an omega-3 polyunsaturate, an essential omega-6 polyunsaturate, a source of linoleic acid.
Recommend Use:
As a dietary supplement for adults, 2 to 4 softgels daily, preferably at mealtimes, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Other Ingredients:
Linseed (flaxseed) oil, carob flavor, glycerin, water, gelatin.
It doesn't contain: Sugar, salt, starch, corn, yeast, wheat, soy, dairy products, preservatives, artificial flavors or colors.

Linseed oil is really amazing for me. It gives me great quick results. This product was exactly what I was looking for. I used it as a nutritional supplement, after tried it I noticed it clearly maintain my cholesterol level. It is very useful for many other things I extremely happier with it.

I take this Linseed oil for retaining my high cholesterol level in an average. Previously I take another medicine but it doesn’t work properly then I started to used this oil for cholesterol, it not creates my cholesterol level in an ideal position but quiet in a well range.

I and my wife use linseed oil for maintaining our cholesterol level in a normal range. Prior I used prescription medicine for cholesterol but have some side effects that why I discontinued them and go linseed oil, it not make my cholesterol level in a perfect position but still in a good range.
