How does NSI\xAE Fo-Ti Root 1,220 mg work? Fo-Ti (polygonum multiflorum) is a plant native to China that also grows extensively in Japan and Taiwan. The Chinese common name for fo-ti, he-shou-wu, was the name of a man from the Tang dynasty whose infertility was reportedly cured by fo-ti. His long life was also attributed to the tonic properties of the plant. The unprocessed root is sometimes called white fo-ti, while the processed root is known as red fo-ti.
