Pantothenic acid, sometimes called vitamin B5, is involved in the KrebGÇÖs cycle of energy production and is needed to make the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Pantothenic Acid is also essential in producing, transporting, and releasing energy from fats. Synthesis of cholesterol depends on pantothenic acid. Pantothenic acid also activates the adrenal glands. Pantothenic acid has also been shown to lower blood levels of cholesterol and triglycerides. Ingredients - per capsule: Pantothenic Acid 500 mg; Calcium 45 mg Other Ingredients: Gelatin (capsule), magnesium stearate and Whole Food Base (whole rice concentrate including the bran, germ and polishings, pure aloe vera gel)
