Uva Ursi is a plant grown in colder, northern climates. The leaf, and sometimes the berries are used. The most common use for uva ursi is for urinary tract infections. Dandelion is grown all over the world, but commercially in the United States and Europe. The leaves and root are used in herbal supplements. It is most commonly used today for alcohol withdrawl support. The root is used for constipation, gallstones and liver support. The leaves are used for edema (water retention). Both the leaves and root are used for indigestion, heartburn, pregnancy and postpartum support. CAUTION: Do NOT use if pregnant or lactating.
