Vitex Extract is a traditional herbal remedy derived from the fruit of Vitex agnus castus, a shrub which grows in temperate regions of Asia. In ancient times it was a symbol of chastity, hence its common name, the chaste berry tree. Vitex has been researched due to its reputation for supporting female hormonal levels during menopause. this standardized formula contains a minimum of 0.5% agnusides, the active components of Vitex, as well as Dong Quai for synergism and additional hormonal support. Supplement Facts Serving Size: 1 Vcap® Amount Per Serving % Daily Value Chaste Berry Tree (Vitex) Extract (fruit) (Vitex agnus castus) 300 mg Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis) (root) 150 mg (Standardized to min. 0.5% Agnusides) Suggested Use: As an herbal dietary supplement, take 1 Vitex Vcap 2 to 3 times daily with water or meals. Free of: sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg or preservatives. Other Ingredients: Cellulose (capsule), Maltodextrin, Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source) and Silica. Doctor after doctor with unsatisfactory results. I use Vitex i am now 27 and my husband and I want to have a baby because past three years doctors couldn't regulate my cycle. after using this stuff for two months. I had my first cycle and now I became pregnant. I think most of us trying to conceive or just regulate our cycles will be glad they tried Vitex.I never believed in supplements before, but I sure do now.
