How Does NSI® Artemisinin work? Artemisinin is a compound derived from the sweet wormwood (Artemisia annua) plant, a common shrub native to Asia (where it's commonly known as qinghao) and grown in temperate regions throughout the world. It's widely used in China and Africa for its beneficial effects on immune health and is being increasingly recognized in the U.S. for its digestive health and free-radical fighting abilities.
