How does NSI® Candida Yeast Management work? Candida, or Candida albicans, is a strain of yeast present in almost every human body. It inhabits the digestive system (mouth, throat, intestines and genitourinary tract) and exists as a normal part of the bowel flora, or organisms that naturally live in the intestines. Candida levels are kept in check by the friendly bacteria, or probiotics, that reside in the digestive tract, including L. acidophilus, B. bifidum, K. bulgaricus, S. thermophilus and L. salivarius.
